Alpha Phi at Saint Joseph’s University Annual Red Dress Gala
There is a whole lot of hot political topics right now surrounding women. You can’t turn on the news or open the newspaper without hearing about something affecting half of America’s population. It is a hot topic of debate (but should it even be?) and you know our stance on women’s rights. As a matter of fact, you know our position on ALL human’s right. And that can be summed up as Live and Let Live and Love and Let Love. That is exactly why Flat World Media Productions is your Philadelphia event photographer who makes a point to donate our professional services to organizations who make a difference in helping and serving others. In this case we are talking about women – and Alpha Phi at Saint Joseph’s University. The Alpha Phi Red Dress Gala is an annual event that is held across the country to benefit young women who are choosing to educate and better themselves. And those who requiring assistance in a time of need. This year’s Gala was held at the Hyatt at the Bellevue.
Theta Theta of Alpha Phi Raising Money
This is not just an event to get all pretty in your favorite red dress (Ok that is fun too!). All proceeds from the Alpha Phi Red Dress Gala will benefit the five vital programs of the Alpha Phi Foundation – scholarship, leadership, heritage, crisis aid and the #1 killer of women – heart disease. With 1 in 3 women losing their lives to heart disease in North America, the Alpha Phi Foundation do everything they can to raise money and awareness against this vast disease. The evening featured a three-course meal, dancing, speakers, a silent auction and more. We did our little part by providing photography for the event and a red carpet experience photo booth.
